ASSIGNMENT 12: SOCIAL MEDIA ADVERTISING Demonstrate your understanding of Facebook advertising and practise. 1) What key objectives can be satisfied with Facebook advertising? Your Facebook advertising campaign objective is what you want people to do when they see your ads (Lawrance, 2016). It’s therefore important for businesses to purposefully select which key objectives align with their advertising goals and formulate a campaign that will target and apply these strategically. Facebook has introduced 3 key categories, which define all ad objectives. These key categories are: Awareness, Consideration and conversion. Awareness covers the key objectives of brand awareness, local awareness and reach (Lawranace, 2016). Consideration covers traffic, engagement (post engagement, page likes, event responses and offer claims), app installs, video views and lead generation while conversion covers conversions, product catalogue sales and store visits (Lawrance, 2016...
